When sending out control commands from the Safend Protector Management console to the Safend Protector Clients, a
»Failed to connect to WMI« error message appears.
Such commands may include »Retrieve latest log info« or »Update Policy«
Ursache
When trying to either collect logs or update policy through the Management Console, WMI ports have to be open for the command to go through.
There may be 3 different types of cases where the WMI functionality will not function correctly.
